“Vapors” by Thomas Typewriter – a new poem

poetry

Your box of taste sits on the table

Next to the silverware and dishes of high importance.

Please, if you’re able, make room for my unique flavor.

Only if your capable

Because soon the day will come

Where I am unwound

Lost and first through the exit

And at that time, let me take solace

Finding a measure of reassurance

That on a table

Next to the dishes from our wedding night

Next to the silverware we meant to use

Sits a box

Holding the smile you claimed

At the smells I would emanate

“Challenged and Re-examined” – a new poem by Thomas Typewriter

poetry

An audience of one face and I can concentrate

Unfortunately

At larger scales all my thoughts spill out

The more the faces, the lesser the balance

User action required

Unfortunately

Panic inflates

Every thought now in doubt

Challenged and re-examined

Slipping away in the ceaseless reshuffling

To do something different, do something different #002

do something

Continuing forward on my goal to shift my life, this past month has had some ups and downs. I managed to post 11 times. That breaks down to 1 script, 1 poem, 1 video, and 8 today in the studios. Would like to increase this number for May. Part of the lower output than I desired was due to taking time to review and adjust my methods. The other part was medical and situational. I had two strong allergic reactions and a stint with the flu. There was also a flooded basement needing attention. So hopefully, this next month will have a better output.

Highlights from the past month: 1. Published the final episode script for The Great Works Project Script. (Now getting the Scriptbook ready for publication this month.) 2. Finished the rough drafts for The Broken Book of Beasties Book Two. 3. The Great Works List suggested some great music in “Destroy Rock and Roll” by Mylo. Wow! 4. Cleaned up painting area.
